About:
Costly is the sophomore album for the band Ghost Ship, following their debut album The Good King. This album was created over the past two years through troublesome times. Their first album was released through Mars Hill Music, but Mars Hill Church dissolved at the end of 2014, leaving Ghost Ship without a label. Yet they continue to do what they feel called to do: lead worship and write music that points to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Lead singer Cam Huxford shares that one of the biggest lessons he learned from the fall of Mars Hill is "organizations and leaders rise and fall but Jesus' church will continue forever." Each song on the new album mirrors Huxford's devotional time with God during this challenging season.
